AfroNoire had the opportunity to attend Africa Fashion Guide's Fashion Africa Conference in February 2014, which featured a panel of designers and industry experts as they discussed the full supply chain of Africa Fashion Design Textiles and Manufacturing. This year around, the Fashion Africa Conference will be strategically held on Fashion Revolution Day on Friday 24th April 2015 and will further explore the same topics. The conference will be held over a day - a first for the social enterprise that is Africa Fashion Guide. This year's event titled 'An African Revolution', will feature a panel discussion with international industry leaders with the purpose of promoting the full supply chain of Africa Fashion Design, Textiles and Manufacturing to a global audience through the media. Topics to be discussed will be centred on sustainability, African fashion manufacturing, responsible sourcing, Africa’s retail market and the new target consumer market, the growth of the African designer market and Africa as new luxury.
