Alexander Wang x H&M: High End Fashion Comes to the High Street
Alexander Wang is collaborating with high street store H&M to deliver a sporty collection available on November 6th.
The collection with its statement pieces and gorgeous coats is perfect for the winter months – you might as well be warm in style!
H&M is no stranger to collaborations with major designers – Isabel Marant, Karl Lagerfeld and Roberto Cavalli are just a few of the influential designers that have worked with the high street store. But now, it’s Alexander Wang’s turn! Yes that’s right, Alexander Wang is designing a capsule collection for H&M which will be available to 150 H&M stores worldwide on the 6th of November. Here’s what he had to say about the collaboration:
‘I am honoured to be a part of H&M’s designer collaborations. The work with their team is an exciting [and] fun process. They are very open to push boundaries and to set a platform for creativity. This will be a great way for a wider audience to experience elements of the Alexander Wang brand and lifestyle.’
The sports luxe trend is also seen in other images that have been released from the menswear and womenswear collection. Hues of black, grey and white are the focus and the key pieces seem to be huge coats, leggings and accessories such as bags and hats. Not forgetting the renowned designer’s name printed all over his garments – he’s definitely not letting us forget who designed such a creative capsule, and who would?
