Miss African Caribbean Beauty 2014 returns for September 2014! Hosted by The ICAN Network LTD, has been searching the country's biggest and vibrant cities to find the next intelligent, beautiful, talented and ambitious ladies from both Africa and the Caribbean to crowd as their next queen. The purpose of the beauty show is to celebrate African and Caribbean women, not only for their beauty - something that is typically overlooked in the industry but more importantly for their innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship. The event will also serve as a platform to showcase the hottest and creative and budding fashion designers from both continent whilst celebrating its heritage and culture.

About The Beauty Pageant

24 African and Caribbean women will be selected to represent their country of origin; they will take part in a fashion show and a talent round where judges will get to find out about each contestant and why they should win the competition and a chance to win one of our fantastic prizes.

Each contestant will be given portfolio building photo-shoots provided by MEKX photography and trained by a professional Catwalk Choreographer Rueben P. Joseph - readying them  for the start of their modelling careers.

The finalist will complete for a chance to win one our amazing prizes:

  • The Opportunity to sign with Mahogany model management
  • An opportunity to sign with base models
  • A Trip to the Caribbean or Africa
  • A Hand made crown made by Carbon and Coal
  • Carbon and Coal Jewellery Sets
  • A shoot with fireshone
  • A portfolio photo shoot with Mekx Grafix
  • The Chance to become Miss African Caribbean Beauty 2014

One of the most important aspect of the evening is that, the event will be raising funds and increasing awareness for The Sickle Cell Society – a charity that is dedicated to improving the lives of those suffering with sickle cell anaemia - a inherited condition that predominantly affects those of African-Caribbean descent. The money raised for the charity will go towards providing care and support to all those affected by Sickle Cell as well as other Support Services.
