(THEATRE) Oliva Tweest - The Afrobeats Musical

OLIVA TWEEST is an Afrobeats musical, taking place April 15th 2013, in the Lyric Theatre (home of Thriller: The Musical). It is the first play of its kind to feature in the west end and will feature a lot of familiar faces in the Afrobeats scene.

The story, which is based on the D’Banj song ‘Oliver Twist’, is set in present time London, about a promiscuous young man (Tobi) who's past comes back to haunt him when he finds the girl who changes him for the better(Testimony), with comedic performances from his Mother(Aunty Funke) and her lover (Pastor Bayodele played by Adot Comedian).
