Our Stories: Black Women In Film Hosted By The NuBlk

As part of the University of Arts London's ACS Film & Literature Festival taking place this month, The NuBlk presents: 'Our Stories: Black Women in Film' in celebration of International Women's Month. The event will feature a selection of short films created by exciting storytellers whose work offers a refreshing look at Black experiences from around the globe with screenings from Waiki Harnais (Unveiling Maeva, Life of Hers); Cecile Emeke (Strolling/Ackee & Saltfish), Onysha D Collins (Dream to Screen finalist), Sarah Diouf (founder of Ghubar Magazine) and Jamila Glass (Black & Sexy TV/The Cutting Room).


The screening takes place on Thursday, March 29th from 6pm-9pm and will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers at the London College of Communication, Elephant & Castle, SE1 6SB. Tickets are £5/£3 concessions. All proceeds will go towards funding the ACS trip to Haiti. Click here to buy your ticket
