Unveiling Edition 1's Front Cover
‘When you are marked, you can always return home.’ - Moniasse Sessou
On Saturday, we were joined by women and a couple of gentlemen as we unveiled the front cover of our upcoming coffee table publication.
The cover features, muse model and neuromuscular therapist, Laurence ‘Moniasse’ Sessou who also appears in an accompanying cover editorial story which features a poem written by Melissa Zibi, creative director for this issue and director at NINAE Lab.
We also engaged with the stories and the experiences of Ade Hassan, Nyakor Riam and Laurence Sessou, in a panel discussion hosted by Jacqueline Shepherd, centred on womanhood, perceptions and expectations.
Below are visual captures of the evening, by Sana Abstrakt. Thank you to all those who attended, especially to Dark Sugars and Dela Foods. As evidenced in the images below, you contributed to creating a comfortable environment where important conversations and connections were made.
Remember, the issue is now available to pre-order.
