The Evolution of Iro & Buba: Showcasing The Evolution Of Traditional Nigerian Fashion
Founder of Africa Fashion Week Nigeria, Ronke Ademiluyi has themed this year's Nigeria's Fashion Week as "Showcasing Our Cultural Heritage Through Fashion". In light of this, Africa Fashion Week Nigeria has launched a campaign and a competition to celebrate the fashion evolution of the 'Iro and Buba' (traditional Nigerian wear) which will result in an exhibition and spectacular display at AFWN's Gala Night on the 24th May 2015 as shown in the images below. How stunning are the images? 1960, 1980 and 2000 are my favourite era style looks!
