What We're Up To This Weekend! — AFROPUNK London 2017
Four days to go until AFROPUNK's second return to London on July 22nd to the 23rd. The US-born music festival celebrates the influence and contribution of black people from various backgrounds — races, gender and beliefs to alternative cultures and lifestyles. Taking place at Printworks in Surrey Quays, this year's festival as usual includes a lineup of incredible live performing artists and activities such as the Spinthrift marketplace; Bites & Beats (food) and Art & Time (artistic murals and exhibitions).
Much to our delight this year's line up features both established and groundbreaking incredible talents, such as Corinne Bailey Ray, Saul Williams, Willow Smith, Kojey Radical, Lianne La Havas, Little Simz, Sate, Nadia Rose and Nao. Keeping the vibe going between performances over the festival weekend will be popular collective gal-dem; Hannah Faith; Jamz Supernova, Clara Amfo and Born n Bread on the decks.
